Hi @Martin Urbanec,
I am checking this internally and will get back to you. JBrungs (WMF) (talk) 10:31, 17 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Dear Martin Urbanec and Natálie Schejbalová (WMCZ)
Thanks for bringing this campaign to our attention. Have you been in touch with anyone from the Wikimedia Foundation directly so far? Generally speaking, chapters and affiliates are not allowed to have fundraising banner campaigns unless a revenue sharing agreement is in place.
Your idea to get seniors editing Wikipedia is great and it might be worth exploring other funding opportunities in the new Grants Strategy. The General Support Fund can support needs around fundraising capacity and seeking other sources of revenue for movement affiliates. If this is a need for your organization, please contact your regional program officer to support your planning for this capacity need.
Without a revenue sharing agreement in place, we would need you to delete this campaign. I wish you success in finding funding sources and I am looking forward to reading about the outcomes in the future. Please let me know if you would like any additional information about our grants process.

When I have consulted with our coordinator in the past on the use of the national Wikipedia for similar purposes, the use to support a specific national project was found to be feasible and, like many other versions of Wikipedia, used. There is no appeal in the text of the banner for financial contributions, only to support the senior program and to educate seniors on how to write Wikipedia, which is what the money raised will eventually be used for. We know the rules and practices of using Wikipedia for direct fundraising. Our proposed campaign and banner adheres to them in our opinion. Hi @Klára Joklová (WMCZ),
Thank you for giving some more context. In order to evaluate this and understand your campaign in more detail it we need to see you banners and the landing page. The way the description reads at the moment it sounds like you are running a fundraising banner and not a campaign banner. Thanks for sharing the material with us and waiting for starting the campaign until we reviewed those. Best, JBrungs (WMF) (talk) 12:23, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hello @JBrungs (WMF), @Klára Joklová (WMCZ) and @Natálie Schejbalová (WMCZ), per Natálie's request, I prepared a CN banner for review: [1]. No campaign was created yet, so the banner can't be displayed except by accessing the preview link I created. Martin Urbanec (talk) 17:39, 22 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, please don't forget to use the calendar to help others to keep track and plan campaigns. Thanks! Ciell (talk) 11:56, 13 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @JBrungs (WMF), @Klára Joklová (WMCZ) and @Natálie Schejbalová (WMCZ), is this banner (preview is in the comment by Martin, 22 November above) approved and still needed? Please let us know. Ciell (talk) 21:30, 22 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi everyone,
We agreed via email that this banner will not be running as a fundraising campaign as that is not possible. I leave it to Klara and Natalie to decide if they want to run a banner about the campaign without a fundraising appeal in the banner. Best, JBrungs (WMF) (talk) 09:13, 23 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I'm closing this as   Declined with that in mind. I'll follow-up with rest of the WMCZ team off-wiki to decide what to do next. Thanks everyone. Martin Urbanec (talk) 16:29, 23 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
