What is Makassar language?

The presentation will cover the history, origins, and the creation of the Makassar language (sources are still being researched). Additionally, it will briefly discuss related languages such as Bugis, Mandar, and Toraja, as well as the scripts used for writing Makassar. There are several scripts used that are still being investigated.

I want people to know about the Makassar language, and maybe write its history on Wikipedia using their language. And also I hope this can attract the attention of existing linguists because I am interested in discussing language similarities, especially in Makassar and Indonesian.
