Category talk:Complete submissions to WCI

There is some glitch in the category page. Before logging it informs

  • "Content pages in category ʺComplete submissions to WCIʺ: The following 80 pages are in this category, out of 80 total.

After logging in it informs

  • Content pages in category ʺComplete submissions to WCIʺ - The following 119 pages are in this category, out of 119 total.

Why are different pages seen before logging in and after logging in? I have printed the two pages as .pdf files, if there is some way I could link them here, I'll try some idea myself. Yogesh Khandke 04:50, 29 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

This is how it looks before logging in (File:Category Complete submissions to WCI before logging in.pdf), and the after logging in version (File:Category Complete submissions to WCI after logging in.pdf). Yogesh Khandke 05:06, 29 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
I had emailed to conference(at)wikimedia.in, that my proposal of missing, then apparently it reappeared, then after a few permutations I have come to understand that there is one logged in version and another unlogged in version, the unlogged in version misses my and 38 other proposals (as seen above), why? Must be something to do with you cache, browser. I dont think there is any issue here. After all Mediawiki categories have been there for ages. Try with diferent browsers / report a bug in bugzilla.wikimedia.org if at all you feel there is a bug. From the conference point of view, we have backups of pages, so rest assured no proposal sitting in Complete submissions to WCI Category goes missing. Logicwiki 07:00, 29 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
