OfflinePedia is a volunteer and social action project that aims to redesign access to encyclopedic and academic content available in the different branches of the Wikimedia project in rural communities. To bring this content to rural areas where there is no easy internet connection or use of traditional computers, a computer, based on Raspberry Pi and Kiwix, was developed at low cost and with recycled components such as CRT televisions.
