- Discussion with Bluerasberry. WMNYC is requesting funding for the venue and scholarships. WMDC is leading the Program Committee. WMNYC is discussing the situation with the Wiki Ed Foundation. Needs from Cascadia include cooperation from UW (via Mako) and in-person presence at the conference. Peaceray and SounderBruce are very interested in supporting the conference and volunteer to serve on the Program Committee. Mako believes that having the conference here will raise the profile of Cascadia Wikimedians and be good for recruiting new members.
