CIS-A2K/Events/Partnership Meeting with H V Desai College on Pune History Project

CIS-A2K has developed partnership with reputed educational institute, H. V. Desai College in Pune to enrich history related content on Wikimedia Projects. The institute had submitted their proposal to collaborate with us two years back. Due to the pandemic, we could not take this forward. The meeting with authorities and faculty was organised on 25 November to finalise the project details and methodology. The principal and four faculty members partcipated in this meeting.
The history project will be implemented with the participation of 30 history students. The students will contribute to Marathi Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons and Marathi Wikisource projects. The major topics identified are as follows -

The college authorities have decided to create a special Wiki Cell in the campus and integrate the Wiki activity with the academics. The plan for the next 3 months was prepared. The first two day workshop to launch the project will be conducted in December 2021.
