The meeting was started with the agenda of Satpal's work as a community advocate. Satpal has uploaded a total of 2400 pages in the month of March. There was a question from Mulkh Singh that what were the resources for the books. In the answer, the resources was pdf from authors, scanning of books and pdfs from online websites as well. The next agenda was an update about Women Editathon by Nitesh Gill. She said that total of 50 articles were edited under this editathon. This editathon was planned at very short notice by Gaurav Jhammat & Nitesh Gill. The next thing was Feminism & Folklore event.
After that, Nitesh shared an update about UNESCO event as well. As Manavpreet Kaur was not in the call, so this was not so long discussion. After that, Mulkh Singh started discussion about creating video tutorials on Youtube & Wikimedia Commons. These videos will help students. It was also marked that we will work as a team on this. Satpal will start a draft about the budget. Nitesh & Mulkh Singh said that they will also participate in the discussion and will write in the draft proposal as well.
At the end of this meeting, Simran shared some questions & comments as well. She shared that she is facing problem in editing templates on Punjabi Wikipedia. She shared that we should encourage new Wikimedians. She also added that we must be active on social media channels. We must update about our recent activities on Facebook and Instagram. Gill Jassu also shared the problem that she is facing issues in adding references to Wikipedia articles.
Manpreetsir shared that he is reading Wikipedia nowadays and Nitesh added that they can also make a video in the Punjabi language on "How to read Wikipedia article?".
