CIP Wikipedia Project/Lesson Plans

Types of lessons

In order to distribute time and resources easily, there are separate categories that each lesson belongs to. Each term can have its own

Classroom lessons

  • These are the lessons we'll have the most, they consist of the supervisors presenting a subject and then having a workshop related to that.

Optional classroom activities

  • These are the lessons that we'll have with only the willing students (ie. we won't take attendance). The plan is that there won't be presentations for these and they will be more casual. There may be presentations prepared for them in time.
  • These are lessons that are CIP's usual lessons. Given here to showcase the weeks in which Wikipedia isn't the subject or weeks that had to be changed due to lack of material/emergencies.

Guest lectures

  • These are lessons in which we invite someone knowledgeable in a related field to give a speech to the classroom.

Other Project Lessons

  • These are lessons that we will do for projects other than the Wikipedia project as guest lecturers. The "Other Projects" include any possible project of CIP.

In-campus fieldwork

  • These are lessons that we will have outside of the class within the campus. They will consist of physical activities such as mapping the campus or adding pictures from the campus. They can also be about visiting the IC (library) of our school.

Outside fieldwork

  • These are lessons that we will have outside of the campus. Since these require a budget for transportation and other necessities, we can only afford to them with a budget.
