We need to develop three different tools for feedback in order to track our progress:

Pre-semester survey edit

Professors edit

Who: Professors
What: A brief survey to measure their familiarity with Wikipedia and expectations for the program
When: Distribute during Professor training, before the semester begins
Survey: Developed. Through Google docs 1st pilot

Students edit

Who: Students
What: A brief survey to gauge baseline familiarity with Wikipedia and expectations for the program
When: Distribute during first day of class OR during first day of Wikipedia training

Post-semester survey edit

Professors edit

What: A brief questionnaire to measure their final comfort-level with Wikipedia, experiences with the program, and satisfaction with the program.
When: Distribute to professors at the end of the semester.

When: Distribute via the professor at the end of semester.

Campus Ambassadors edit

When: Distribute at the end of the semester.

Training feedback edit

Professors edit

What: Brief questions soliciting the feedback of the attendees on each of the training modules regarding effectiveness of material and trainers.
When: Distribute at the end of the training.
How: to be distributed via link in an email
Why:

  • Measure effectiveness of training on key module issues
  • Identify gaps in training:
    • areas that were not covered
    • Identify areas that were not sufficiently covered
  • Highlight helpfulness of orientation experience
