Boli Cheto Foundation/Events/Gondi Wiktionary Workshop

The Gondi Wiktionary workshop is a two-day residential training event designed to bolster the involvement of volunteers in the Gondi Wiktionary project. This initiative, organized by the Boli Cheto Foundation, seeks to empower volunteers with the skills and knowledge necessary to contribute effectively to the Gondi Wiktionary. Additionally, the workshop aims to foster a sense of community among participants and establish a collective vision for the future development of the Gondi language resources.

Workshop Plan

Participants will engage in training sessions focused on various aspects of Wiktionary contribution, including content creation, editing, and community collaboration. Through this intensive workshop, volunteers will gain hands-on experience and practical insights, enhancing their ability to support the Gondi-speaking community.

By the end of the workshop, attendees will have a clearer understanding of their roles and responsibilities within the Gondi Wiktionary project. They will also participate in a community meeting to set strategic goals, ensuring sustained growth and enrichment of the Gondi language on digital platforms.
