Anarâškielâ servi

Anarâškielâ servi (Q621246) (Inari Saami Language Association) is an organization founded in 1986 to promote the endangered Inari Saami language. It and its members were instrumental in the creation of the Inari Saami Wikipedia in 2020, and continue to support it with various activities.

    • Next edit-a-thon: 27–28 January 2024 in Inari, Finland
  • Collaboration with the University of Oulu, Finland
    • Written Use of Inari Saami II (5 credits) – One of the course assignments is to write a Wikipedia article.
    • Written Use of Inari Saami III (10 credits) – One of the course assignments is to write a Wikipedia article.

  • Collaborations to increase coverage and awareness of Inari Saami language and culture outside of Finland
