Wikipedia is a first stop for researchers: let's make it better! Your goal today is to add one reference to Wikipedia! Any citation to a reliable source is a benefit to Wikipedia readers worldwide. When you add the reference to the article, make sure to include the hashtag #1Lib1Ref in the edit summary so that we can track participation. The #1Lib1Ref campaign is supported by a number of network organizations Wikipedia Library, Amical Wikimedia (see the project in Catalan), Wikimedia España, Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals, Digital Library Federation, Central New York Library Resource Council, OCLC Research, Open Library, and Your organization >250 articles improved in Catalan language during these days, in collaboration with all the major networks of libraries and librarians.
Catalan Cinema Wikiproject 2016 edit
From Wednesday 27 to Sunday 31 January took place the 5th edition of the Catalan Cinema Wikiweek, on the occasion of the 8th edition of the catalan Gaudí Cinema Awards Ceremony. This time, a total of 11 editors participated in the Wikiproject. Some of the achievements have been:
- 87 new articles, mostly about films (and specially Catalan films), but also about directors and actors.
- 14 improved and expanded articles.
- Content in value of more than 670.000 bytes have been added.
- All the films nominated to the Gaudí Award to the best Film in Catalan Language have been created.
- All the films nominated to the Gaudí Award to the best Film in not Catlan Language have been created.
- Most of the films nominated to the Best documental and Best European Film have been created.
- Several articles of directors have been also created, so that the article Gaudí Awards 2016 has now much less red links.
- Main films nominated to the Academy Awards have been also created.

- January 28, Thursday – Monthly Open Edith Meeting at the offices of Wikimedia Germany (Berlin). It is an open space for all the wikipedian community, in order to exchange knowledge, just meet other people, and speak about what is going on.
