Catalan Wikiquotes 11th anniversary contest
Catalan Wikiquote community, with the support of Amical Wikimedia organizes and august challenge to celebrate the 11th anniversary of Wikiquote in Catalan language, known as Viquidites. The competition was hold from 23 to 31 August. This time volunteers wanted to focus the competition on quotes and sayings that are part of the richness of our popular culture, local knowledge, weather, animals or field traditions. It's community led and Amical helped promoting the event and financing the awards, some quote books in Catalan language.
