AfroCine Datathon
The AfroCine Datathon is a series of training and editathon event that seeks to contribute entries to wikidata us it's celebrates it's 9th anniversary this year during WikidataCon. This project would further lead to an increase and improvement of the skill and knowledge of participant who contributes to linked open data (new and old volunteers).
Background edit
Contribution or creating of wikidata items or statements would be taken from this years AfroCine contest and also contribution would be made to Items that are not part of the list created in the contest,that would be created by volunteers respectively.
The edit-a-thon would be running for two month or beyond depending on the outcome of the contribution. This edit-a-thon is part of the series that seek to celebrate the birthday of wikidata and we are joining the global community to do this through contribution.
