South Sudan has experienced devastating effects of flooding and long drought in the past 4 years. Such calamities have affected livelihood and mostly women and children.
The purpose of the "Women Voices on Climate" is to train 20 young women to use the Wikipedia portal to write articles about climatic changes and the environment. These women will be selected from diverse fields such as activists, journalists and content creators.

"Women Voices on Climate" project will amplify the need to create more awareness and include more women in the climate actions. The young women will undergo an intensive one day training and mentorship to use the Wikipedia portals to write their own stories and experiences and inspirations. This is intended to create awareness on climatic changes and what needs to be done.The one day event will create more awareness on the need to involve women in the fight against harmful environmental practices in the communities.
