1. Recognizing Wikimedia User Groups is the responsibility of the Affiliations Committee;
2. Wiki Advocates Philippines User Group has submitted an application for recognition, which has been reviewed by the Affiliations Committee;
3. The scope of the group, which can be found on their meta page, is "a community of Filipino volunteer Wikimedians advocating free knowledge through the different Wikimedia projects; promoting the use of these projects primarily but not limited to education and in promoting equal gender representation. Empowering communities through project development, supporting global human rights advocacy and hosting campaigns promoting the free knowledge ecosystem."; and
