- I also thought briefly about something based on f(x) or f_x (the latter like "there are x-number of functions here: f₁, f₂...", and a slight nod to pharmacy's R_x), but then the "effects" meaning came to mind. Pelagic (talk) 12:36, 7 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
