2022 Eating at the Greater Bay
Eating @ the Greater Bay is an anticipated project for the beginning of 2022, promoted by the Greater Bay Area Wikimedians to complete the basic entries of food, cuisine, ingredients, specialties, and industries in each region of the Greater Bay Area, in order to meet the readers' needs for understanding the food culture of the region.

In the future, we will also promote the expansion and improvement of the entries of the Greater Bay Area, including clothing, eating, housing and transportation.
The campaign is scheduled to begin in late December 2021 and is expected to run from January 1 to March 4, 2022, covering the entire winter break and Chinese New Year.

Event Details edit
The project consists of two main elements.
- Edit-a-thon, which is an entry writing exercise under the Chinese Wikipedia (zh.wikipedia.org) domain. To ensure the quality of the entries, one user will be considered as "completed" when he/she has created 1 entry that matches the theme.
- Wikimedia Commons is an image upload system on commons.wikimedia.org. Considering that images and videos will greatly improve the readability of diet entries, we plan to promote and encourage image uploads and evaluate them.
