Wiki meetup edit
The first wiki gathering to take place in Uganda was held at out box , Kampala. Open invitation was sent out to several communities to be part of this start up user group Uganda.

The group decided on creating a watsapp group for follow up and updates.
MUTEESA 1 ROYAL UNIVERSITY edit
This was an openstreetmap and wikimedia event that took place at muteesa one royal university. The morning session include field work with the students mapping the area around the university and in the afternoon we carried out a wikipedia activation of students creating accounts and editing online articles of their home areas.
