Annual events edit

Turkic Wikimedia Conference
 
Turkic Wikimedia Conference is an annual conference organized by Wikimedians of Turkic Languages User Group (WMTurkic) and attended by the Turkic world and surrounding Wikimedia communities. The conference, which was first held in Almaty, Kazakhstan in 2012, was not held again until 2023. In 2023, with the initiatives of WMTurkic, a new conference was planned and action was taken. The last conference, which was held in Istanbul in 2023, is planned to be held in Baku in 2025.
Turkic Marathon
 
Turkic Marathon is an annual Wikipedia editing contest, which is carried out on the initiative and organization of Wikimedia Turkic UG with the support and with active cooperation with local Turkic Wikimedia affiliations. The contest will be held in several Turkic editions of Wikipedia. During the contest, contestants must create articles in their language edition of Wikipedia and add them to a special page (Fountain). The winners will be determined by the jury for each Wikipedia.
Monthly meetings

Various meetings are held to ensure continuity of communication and information exchange with community members. These meetings aim to provide a platform where participants can interact, share ideas and exchange information, focusing on the needs and interests of different segments of the community. The process aims to create an active communication network with the community, make continuous improvements with feedback, and ensure a sustainable communication and information flow by encouraging the participation of community members. These meetings are organized in different formats, offering diversity and flexibility, and are supported by technological tools to ensure wider participation. In this way, it is aimed to create a sustainable interaction and information exchange process with the community.
