  • WP for School projects: using offline Wikipedia
  • Many teachers would prefer a version that is more suited to Kenyan curriculum. Working on this
  • Needed to do some computer fixing to make it work.
  • Teachers had difficulty re-installing.
  • In some schools, have over 700 students, and only about 10 computers.

Outreach:

  • Meetups in Nairobi with other like-minded organisations
  • Met up with media
  • Met up with Google Kenya
  • Country tour
  • Outreach outside Kenya, e.g. Tanzania & Botswana

  • Accepting more than 50 participants outside Kazakhstan
  • Want to get Kazakh language added to Google Translate.
