| Abstract:
La Stratégie 2030 pour le Mouvement a pour ambition de créer un mouvement équitable auquel chacun puisse adhérer, en mettant l'accent sur l'intégration des groupes marginalisés. Pour ce faire, nous avons déjà affirmé que nous devions supprimer les barrières techniques et sociales qui empêchent d'adhérer au mouvement. Est-ce que celá est suffisant? Nous aimons appeler ce réseau de personnes, d'affiliés et de projets le Mouvement Wikimédia, mais sommes-nous un véritable mouvement social ? Il faut en faire plus pour connecter les gens, créer un sentiment global de soutien mutuel et de solidarité, et renforcer les petites communautés locales. Dans cette session, nous posons la question suivante : quels sont les obstacles et les opportunités que nous devrons surmonter pour véritablement avancer ensemble en tant que mouvement solide, durable et international ? |

| Abstract:
The Movement Strategy 2030 envisions an equitable movement anyone can join - with a focus on including previously marginalized groups and knowledge. In order to do this, we already acknowledged that we have to remove technical and social barriers to joining. Will that be enough? We like to call this network of people, affiliates and projects the Wikimedia Movement, but are we a true social movement? More is needed to connect people, create a global sense of mutual support and solidarity, and engage the power of that movement to strengthen and boost small local communities. In this workshop we ask the question: what are the barriers and opportunities we will have to address to truly grow together as a strong, sustainable and global movement? |

This workshop will not provide all the answers. However we hope to provide food for thought, for discussion and for making decisions that will allocate resources towards the building blocks of our movement. | |||
