Abstract (maximum 500 words)

About 284 million people are visually impaired worldwide: 39 million are blind and 245 have low vision. One of my friends, Tarun, is a representative of those curious minds who wish to gain knowledge, but their vision is a barrier for them to gain it. I believe that providing all the articles of Wikipedia in a form of an audio-document, I prefer calling it "Audio-wiki" article, would be beneficial to both the learner and the visually-challenged person like my friend and many of my friends throughout the globe to know more and to gain greater knowledge. I know that the task isn't that easy, but if this venture becomes a success, millions like Tarun would be able to gain knowledge of the world around us. This, I believe is instrumental in bringing information to each and every visually-challenged individual.
