Just in case anyone stumbles across this: this is currently a sandbox for me to collect links to discussions related to censorship, offensive content, and proposed methods of handling the issue, with the eventual intent of getting together a thorough summary of the way this issue has been handled in the past for reference. This will eventually be moved into public space, but not until I've had more time to organize it.

Despite this being in userspace for now, if you stumble across it, feel free to edit and comment. It is enwikipedia-centric for now because 1) most of the discussion is focused on it and 2) it's the project I participate on most and know best.
