North America & WALRUS meetup edit

Is it possible for there to be a meetup dinner for affiliate members from North America, to include affiliates outside the geographic limits that are associated with the nations from North America (Such as American Samoa as an example).--RightCowLeftCoast (talk) 16:02, 12 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Good day, Let me see if I understand this IF it is a meetup you are suggesting, yes it is possible as a meetup could also have a regional theme and we will provide space for that in addition to dinner snacks. As previously communicated, follow this link (https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Summit_2020/Thematic,_regional,_language-specific_meetups) and add your suggested meetup to the overview. After that, you can communicate it to your target attendees. For planning purposes, the sooner you do so, the better. If you need to enquire further on this matter, directly send email to the organising team : wmsummit@wikimedia.de. Alice Kibombo (WMDE) (talk) 16:45, 12 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Good day, just that you know, since you proposed to have your meet-up on Saturday, you will need to arrange for it perhaps at the hotel or wherever else you may choose. Alice Kibombo (WMDE) (talk) 12:44, 20 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
