Slogan

What about localized versions of slogan. Is it going to be translated, left the same, or on every wiki peoplo will vote about it? There are already localized versions, like Czech one with the old slogan. So what about it? Soeb ^{talk|contribs} 19:35, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

The slogan can be localized as desired. Alternatively, the versions with no text, or just the project name can be used (either "WIKIBOOKS" or the localized name, I guess)  — Mike.lifeguard | ^@en.wb 02:09, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

Yes, the logo is the same for all projects. The slogan can be localized (along with the project name if desired). I'm not sure why it would be otherwise - having an English slogan on Japanese Wikibooks doesn't make sense.  — Mike.lifeguard | ^@en.wb 02:41, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

Well, it's only 6 words of English text - how many possible tranlations can there be into any given target language? For each language, it'll get translated, and a new logo generated. So, yes, it's the best translation we can get.  — Mike.lifeguard | ^@en.wb 09:22, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

Hungarian

Hi, Could someone make a Hungarian edition, the name of the project is Wikikönyvek, and the slogan could be Nyitott könyvek egy nyitott világért, but as has been noted above, it could be translated in a variety of ways, so please make one version without the slogan (so if someone really hates my version, it can be changed until they figure out the best). Done - File:Wikibooks-logo-he.svg and File:Wikibooks-logo-he.png. I had to use the same font for the project name and the slogan since the font we were using for the slogan doesn't like Hebrew text. Text to path in Norwegian version

The Norwegian version has been uplaoaded. Could you please convert text to path in it? I didn't know how to do it. (The subtitle is removed on purpose, since "Wikibøker" is the only common word in the logo for both the Norwegian languages.) ----EIRIK\^talk 21:11, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

Hebrew Slogan

Hi, the Hebrew name of Wikibooks is ויקיספר, where ויקי means wiki, and ספר means book. The slogan is

חושבים חופשי. לומדים חופשי.
