• Q: I can't upload file in my wiki [or] The upload link is not showing

• Q: I want to change the upload directory (default is /images)

  A: see mw:Manual:$wgUploadDirectory

• Q: I can't upload file type X (PDFs, djvu, avi, wmv, mp3, odt, etc.)

• Q: This file is bigger than the server is configured to allow

  A: You have to change the setting in you php.ini file upload_max_filesize = 250M (might require server admin account), AND changing mw:Manual:$wgMaxUploadSize
