Séances publiques mensuelles

La CRCM organisera des séances publiques mensuelles ouvertes à tous, sans inscription, pour nous aider à réfléchir à divers sujets et questions. Ces séances visent à améliorer le lieu et la participation des individus et communautés qui veulent partager leur point de vue sur la Charte. Les sujets de chaque séance et les informations qui doivent être lues seront partagées auparavant.

The MCDC hopes to use this opportunity to onboard communities that haven't previously been engaged with Movement Charter or those communities seeking to learn more about it. This engagement will help them prepare for the upcoming ratification vote.
  • The call will start with the MCDC's journey and an introduction (onboarding) to the full Charter draft. Followed by a break.
  • The second part will be dedicated to Q&A on the Movement Charter.

      1) travail sur l’idée « Pas de Conseil global »
      2) travail sur le modèle d’une assemblée générale

    • Après le travail en groupe, les participants se réuniront pour analyser collectivement les avantages et inconvénients des différents modèles.

La commission de rédaction de la Charte du mouvement (CRCM) a partagé la version de travail entière de la Charte du mouvement le 2 avril 2024. La CRCM va recueillir les retours des communautés et parties prenantes jusqu’au 30 avril 2024.

La commission de rédaction de la Charte du mouvement (CRCM) a partagé les nouveaux textes de travail de la Charte du mouvement en juillet 2023.

Le CRCM a recueilli les retours des communautés et parties prenantes jusqu’au 2 septembre 2023.

We suggest that interested individuals get acquainted with the draft chapters before the calls. The MCDC will share open questions to request community input on, additional questions and clarifications are welcomed!

For the regional conversation hours, please observe the following points:

  • Everyone can join the call (via Zoom/Google Meet), no registration needed.
  • Engage as you like: speaking up, writing, or just listening.
  • Most of the calls will be conducted in English otherwise noted; some calls will have live interpretation available.
  • The conversations will not be recorded. Documentations will be available later on Meta.
  • For a welcoming space for everyone, constructive communication is expected by everyone. The Universal Code of Conduct applies.

From September to December 2023, Movement Charter conversations will continue at various regional events as listed below. There will also be conversations organized by individuals or groups from different communities within the frame of the Movement Charter community conversations support grants available for under-resourced communities.

We encourage everyone attending the regional events to talk to Movement Charter Drafting Committee members present at the events, ask your questions, and share feedback. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the regional specialists of the Wikimedia Foundation's Movement Communications team who will be able to assist you.
