Shortcut for commons?

Any chance of getting "c:" to be a shortcut for "Commons:"? If this is not the right place to ask for it, would greatly appreciate a link to where you think is better... Lar 20:50, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

No response? :( I just made a this comment before seeing this. Rocket000 01:07, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

mediazilla: or bugzilla:

I can see that mediazilla: is listed in "Project titles and shortcuts" section as prefix to MediaZilla.

In that Help page itself ( "Prefixes" section, look near the end of that section) bugzilla: is used as prefix to make a link, and it's working.

Which is the right way? Someone can explain it in the Help page. --ChemicalBit - talk 11:34, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

So mediazilla: can be used just to link to MediaZilla's main page? --ChemicalBit - talk 14:04, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

Festipedia

Can a mediawiki.org admin make a "festipedia:" interwiki prefix that looks like this:

Web address: http://www.frheritage.org.uk/wiki/

Long form: festipedia:

shortcuts: fest:, fr:

It will be appreciated. --Dagoth Ur, Mad God 02:52, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

WikiHow.org names

Why does WikiHow.org use dashes instead of underscores in a page URL? Also, why does WikiHow use only part of the page name in the URL?

Here is a link to a Wikihow page:

How to Use the MediaWiki ImageMap Extension

Here is the wikicode used for the above link.

One can't link by adding double brackets around the page name. The link does not work. Try it and see. --Timeshifter 14:31, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
