Dear Sahaquiel9102,

Thank you for this request. I very much appreciate your passion for supporting the development of Wikimedia Projects in indigenous languages, and I can see why you are interested in attending this event to learn and share with people thinking about this issue in other parts of the world. However, we are not able to fund your request. In general, we prefer to fund people to participate in regional, rather than international events, unless there is a strong justification for the much greater costs of long distance travel. Also, we generally fund people to participate in non-Wikimedia events, so that Wikimedians can extend knowledge about our projects to people who aren't yet a part of our community. This event is described on the website as an event put on by Wikimedia UK. Finally, we also fund people who will formally present or in some other way proactively share knowledge at events. We do not cover travel costs for attendance.

We hope you can find ways to share in the learning from this conference, even though we cannot fund you to attend! I hope to do the same. I was not aware of this particular event yet, but I will be interested to review any notes, videos or presentations that are posted after the event.

Hi! Thanks for review this request. I understand your reasons. I'm Sorry I did not know that TPS grants were planed to non-Wikimedia events.
