Dear Harithaharikumar,

Thank you for submitting this request. In general, TPS prefers to fund grantees to participate in events in their own geographical region. We make exceptions to this rule when there is exceptional value in a volunteer attending an international event. In this case, the event is clearly regional in nature, and the purpose of your participation is not likely to have sufficient impact to justify international travel.

For these reasons, it does not make sense for Wikimedia to fund this request. We welcome future requests from you that may be a better fit and wish you all the best in your future work.
