Appeal for another opportunity to work on my reviewed grant application. edit

Sequel to the grant administrators' mail of February 9, 2024, seeking clarification on my organization, group or affiliate name, I changed my application to an individual application for the fear that I may not meet the five business days provision to supply information on the status of the organization (University of Nigeria) and bank account. This is a mistake. I would prefer that the project remains a University of Nigeria project which it was intended to be from the inception.

I am appealing to the grant administrators to give me another opportunity to work on my reviewed application and also extend the days for supplying the required information by two. This is to enable me to obtain the required information and change my organization back to the University of Nigeria. Making the project a University of Nigeria project will help to buy the university more into Wikimedia projects.

The request for more days to process the required information arose as a result of Mondays being regarded as non-working days in Southeast Nigeria as a result of the activities of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)

I regret all inconveniences this might cause you.

Not Funded edit

Hello @Ngozi osadebe thank you for applying for the rapid fund grant. We reviewed your application and after a careful review, have decided to not fund this application at this time. We appreciate your commitment to enhancing women's digital orientation, however a few key factors for success are not clear within this application. Specifically, the project budget it is not currently aligned with the impact metrics of the project. You have proposed the creation of 10 new articles, improvement of 25 articles, and 30 commons uploads, these impact metrics are low, and the scope of which could be better supported through a micro-grant within your community. Additionally, the actual project goals and scope are not clear in relation to the measurable outcomes that have detailed in the application.

We strongly recommend that the team engages with the Wikimedia User Group Nigeria, or the Igbo Wikimedians User Group for support on this project.
