Hello Lomoraronad, thanks for submitting this grant request. The WikiForHumanRights review team has reviewed your grant request and here is our feedback.

This proposal is clear and complete. It leverages the campaign theme to focus on SDG 13, allowing you to document climate change effects most relevant to the flood-prone community, both now and in the future. We commend you on building upon the community's work from the 2023 edition. This allows the volunteer South Sudan community to join the global movement in the WikiForHumanRights 2024 campaign effectively.

Through their participation, they aim at increasing information on flooding, soil erosion, plant, and animal species in Dinka, Nuer, and English on both Wikipedia and Wikidata. The inclusion of documenting South Sudanese animal and plant species on Wikidata in Dinka and Nuer, alongside contributions to Wikivoyage, is particularly fascinating. This broadens the project's impact significantly.

Engaging in discussions and contributions with environmentalists and activists at Juba University adds another exciting layer to the project. This collaboration fosters a valuable learning experience for all involved.

We made a decision to fully fund this grant request in the amount of 2,800,000 SGD (1,400 USD). We wish you all the best with your upcoming project! Best regards, --DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 07:24, 7 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
