Hello Houss 2020, thanks for applying for a Rapid Grant. We reviewed and approved the grant in the amount of 11,000 TND (3,602 USD) with the following comment; please share a brief summary of what you learned from implementing Wiki Loves Earth in Tunisia, and how that has informed the focus for this project and the approach that you are taking.

Best regards, (On behalf of the Middle East and Africa regional funds team) ~~~~ YPam (WMF) (talk) 16:02, 23 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Dear @YPam (WMF),
This is a great news, I am so happy about it.
About your question "what you learned from implementing Wiki Loves Earth in Tunisia",on a personal level,WLE Wiki Loves earth was a great opportunity for me to discover and learn about new species of plants and animals in Tunisia and we enjoy the experience of photographing new beautiful areas in our country. Besides we learned a lot about wikimedia commons and Creative commons and the importance of the public domain. This experience made us upload many photos that can be used in many articles in Wikipedia and other projects.
About the "approach that we are taking" this year we will associate with others communities like photography clubs and hiker clubs , who have a big idea about protected areas in Tunisia, this approach will improve the quality of uploaded photos and the number of photographed areas. To ensure this goal we will organise a presentation about Wiki loves earth and how to participate. These learnings are interesting @Houss 2020. All the best on this project, and we look forward to reading more learnings in your report. YPam (WMF) (talk) 13:20, 3 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
