Not Funded edit

Hello @Shayi ngolu thank you for applying for the rapid fund grant. We reviewed your application and after a careful review, have decided to not fund this application at this time. The impact metrics set for the project are too low for the activities you propose. Here are some constructive feedback points and suggestions to strengthen your project planning if you decide to apply again in future.

  • Clarify impact metrics to ensure that those align with the plans for the project. For instance, what is the real impact of improving 4 articles on wikipedia. This number is low, but if there’s more impact, consider providing a rationale for  that decision,
  • As this is a project meant to support the expansion of a growing community, and involves training students and some educators, consider providing details regarding how this knowledge will be sustained and scaled beyond the initial engagement.
  • Additionally, providing details on the content of the educational materials and how they will be tailored to the local context, languages, and learning environments can illustrate the project's relevance and potential impact.

Best regards, (On behalf of the Middle East and Africa regional funds team) ~~~~ YPam (WMF) (talk) 09:40, 21 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
