Hello Ferdinand IF99, thanks for submitting this grant request. The WikiForHumanRights review team has reviewed your grant request and here is our feedback.

We think that this proposal offers a valuable opportunity for Wikimedians of Burundi group to join the WikiForHumanRights global campaign for the first time. Their participation strengthens Francophone African involvement. The project emphasizes knowledge building. It will increase awareness of human rights and sustainability in Burundi on Wikidata, Wikipedia, and Wikimedia Commons.

Your focus on Wikisource skills development is impressive. To have a clearer understanding, could you please elaborate on whether you plan to hold capacity-building sessions or directly engage participants in contributing to Wikisource, or perhaps both? Learning more about your Wikisource strategy would be very interesting.

We made a decision to fully fund this grant request in the amount of 7,066,378.1 BIF (2,482 USD). We wish you all the best with your upcoming project! Best regards, --DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 07:01, 8 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello Davit, thank you very much for your comments, they are very instructive and very encouraging for us. Thank you for agreeing to fund the project which will allow our Burundian community to grow even more, we will do capacity building on Wikisource and then engage participants in contributing to Wikisource.
