Hello CoachAni, thanks for submitting this grant request. The WikiForHumanRights review team has reviewed your grant request and here is our feedback.

Your collaboration with the Center for Climate Change and Sustainability Studies (C3SC) at the University of Ghana brings an interesting approach to the project. This partnership will allow to leverage student engagement through the exciting mapping exercise on Wikipedia as class assignments. This not only identifies content gaps but also engages knowledge contributors on the platform. Furthermore, training Masters students to contribute to Wikimedia projects and use the acquired skills to improve the identified articles is a fantastic way to foster sustainable learning.

Your decision to collaborate with Wikimedia local communities and organizers in Ghana is also impressive. This broadens your reach by leading varying activities in different cities.

The topical collaboration on waste pollution is another strong point. Your fascinating approach documents knowledge in diverse forms and targets relevant audiences. This ensures that the content serves as a valuable educational tool to improve local knowledge on Climate change, sustainability and gender.

We made a decision to partially fund this grant request in the amount of $4,521.65 USD (59,098 GHS). We did not approve request for laptop purchase because we don't fund equipment purchase for individuals. Best regards, --DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 07:24, 7 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
