1. .This proposal is of very important to our community because we are living in a community where their is more hausa people, so hausa culture is well pracctice in the community so this will help in keeping the song tradition alive.

The project may be of use to the community in the aspect of the education gap because many people ma come to know where to find these songs, how to get them and how to upload them to the wikimedia commons. the budget as i see will help the participants to know tht what they are doing is valuable project.
3. . I think this proposal will help in innovating new wikimedians to have belief that wikimedia is more than what they know.
4. . This project may help in having more files in wikimedia comminds.

Hello @Sadauki11 thank you for applying for the rapid fund grant. We reviewed your grant application and decided to not fund your application at this time. For projects of this nature it is important that the team is able to demonstrate knowledge of the policies related to the challenges or issues that you are seeking to address. This knowledge will mitigate the risks of policy and copyright violations. We recommend that the team spends some time learning and researching about copyrights on Artistic work in Nigeria because the argument posed in this application seems to assume that copyrighted materials automatically become open and public upon the artist’s death.

Additionally, the team is encouraged to engage with Hausa Wikimedians User group and the Wikimedians of Nigeria User group for future support that may be needed to ensure that you are able to run an impactful project.
