Hello Uncle Bash007, thank you for submitting your grant application. We appreciate your interest in contributing to the mission of the Wikimedia Movement. We are continuously strengthening our grants review process, ensuring that grant funding is being invested towards impactful projects and efforts geared towards contributing to the mission of Wikimedia Movement in the most efficient and effective manner.

After reviewing your application, we have decided to not fund your Rapid Fund request. Here are the main reasons for our decision:

• Impact: We appreciate the applicant's plan to develop Hausa Wikiquote on Incubator. However, we think that the proposal does not demonstrate the need and any clear plan of development of Hausa Wikiquote on Incubator through this project.
• Lack of coordination: The project proposal has not been properly communicated to the Hausa Wikimedians User Group. We request that fan club establishment process and operation of fun clubs are coordinated and aligned with the User Group.
• Budget: The proposed budget breakdown is incomplete which raises concerns about the financial management of the project.
• Learnings: Project learnings are unclear.

Like I mentioned earlier,

1. I have communicated with the leaders about Fan Club before creation and we share our plans on the clubs’ page and the Hausa Talkpages. Hence, even if we communicate with the User Group via email or social media, they don’t reply us. Therefore, the fan club cannot carry any activity probided we have to communicate with the User Group first.Uncle Bash007 (talk) 10:23, 11 April 2023 (UTC)
