Grants talk:Programs/Wikimedia Community Fund/Rapid Fund/How to contribute to Wikimedia in Zimbabwe (ID: 21960059)

Endorsment from Anthere (talk) edit

I think this proposal is going to contribute to creation of content on a very under-served area (= african women), but also to strengthen a rather new community, with hopefully returning contributors from last year drive, AND new contributors. I am happy to support them in any way I can.

Feedback from Middle East and Africa regional funds review team edit

Hello Sichelesile, thanks so much for putting together this grant request. We have a few questions for you after reviewing the grant proposal.

  • Did you discuss this proposal with anyone in your Wikimedia community? Do you have any active contributors after your first series of events? Please update your response to question 11.
  • Could you please clarify who will be running the training sessions? (question 5)
  • What's the need for running 5 training sessions? What will be different in these training sessions? (question 3)
  • If you plan to run 5 training sessions, why is the number of participants 25? Does it mean you will have 5 participants in a session? (clarify question 16)
  • Please fill out the Wikimedia project contributions metrics (question 17).
  • In your budget, what do you mean by "Permanent Internet support"? What's the need for offering permanent internet support? Who will have this support? (update budget file)

Please make requested updates on Fluxx. Log in to the Grantee Portal and you will see your application in the 'Proposals need attention' section. Edit and re-submit your application by November 7, 2022.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks for your time, DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 11:19, 1 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
