En tant que contributeur et participant aux événements passés dans ma région, je pense que cette activité a un intérêt particulier sur la qualité et la mise à niveau de contributeurs, ce qui est un problème réel jusque-là dans notre communauté. Une activité avec une durée prolongée permettrait aux contributeurs d'avoir un peu plus de lumière sur l'utilisation des projets wikimédiens, en occurrence wikimedia commons et Wikipédia, et leur permettra en suite de garder le cap sur la contribution dans la durée tel que mentionné dans le projet. Nous espérons cependant, palper les résultats à la fin de cette activité et voir notre communauté compter de plus en plus des contributeurs actifs et de qualité.

J'ai pu participer à quelques événements organisés dans ma région mais le nombre de séances étant parfois réduit, après les activités j'ai trouvé du mal à continuer les contributions parce qu'il y a encore des choses qui m’échappent. Mais je crois qu'avec cette activité qui prévoit des séances intenses, nous allons nous éclairer sur beaucoup de sujets, ce qui nous permettra de continuer à alimenter et promouvoir davantage les projets de la fondation wikimédia dans notre contrée. Nous avons hate d'y participer afin de continuer le travail.

Hello @Terio legale, thank you for applying for the rapid fund grant. We reviewed and have decided to not fund this application at this point in time, for the following reasons.

• While your project aims to address the issue of contributor inactivity, there is a need for clear, measurable goals and expected outcomes, as well as a plan for how you will evaluate the success of your project in increasing contributor activity in the long term. For example, the proposed solution, while well-intentioned, does not seem sustainable. Running intense contribution activities for a limited period might provide a short-term boost, but without addressing the root causes of contributor inactivity (such as lack of motivation, or ongoing support), the impact may be limited.
• While there is a brief mention of discussing the idea with community members, there is no evidence of wide community involvement or support. Engaging with the community and getting their feedback and suggestions is vital for the success of many Wikimedia projects. We encourage you to actively coordinate with the Wikimedia community, both locally and globally. Seek feedback, involve community members in project planning, and demonstrate how your project aligns with the general needs and goals of the movement within your context.

We appreciate your dedication to the Wikimedia movement and encourage you to continue building connections within your community. Engaging with experienced Wikimedians and learning from successful projects can provide valuable insights for your future initiatives.
