It looks to me that mentoring could be useful — for new contributors to have their work reviewed by a mentor available in their timezone, with extensive feedback. This would increase the number of active volunteers as access to a queue wouldn't require as much experience as it does now: for example, commons-otrs queue access is only given to people who are extensively involved in reviewing others' submissions at the project, but the process can also be learned through mentoring at OTRS. --Gryllida 00:46, 12 July 2013 (UTC)
