Setelah proposal saya (Grants:Project/Rapid/Empat Tilda/Menyunting Wikidata dan Wikisource Bersama Civitas Akademik Universitas Papua) berjalan, kami berinisiatif untuk mendirikan komunitas kontributor di Manokwari. Sayangnya karena kami hanya menyelenggarakan kelas di universitas papua saja, anggota komunitas kami hanya civitas akademika universitas papua. Maka dari itu saya berinisiatif untuk mengadakan acara sejenis di universitas lain, agar komunitas kami lebih inklusif. Dengan adanya anggota baru dari universitas lain, diharapkan adanya diskusi antar anggota yang menghasilkan konten tentang tanah papua yang lebih beragam.

Saya akan berkolaborasi dengan anggota komunitas manokwari untuk mengadakan lokakarya penyuntingan dasar WIkidata dan wikisource dalam dua hari (satu acara perhari). Lokakarya wikidata dan wikisource ini kami rasa penting, karena selama ini komunitas manokwari memiliki pengalaman pada dua proyek ini. Kami rasa dua proyek tersebut dapat menjadi permulaan kontributor baru dalam berkontribusi di berbagai proyek wikimedia.

Kami sudah mendiskusikan pengajuan proyek ini melalui rapid grant sejak Desember 2023 hingga Maret 2024 pada rapat bulanan komunitas manokwari (https://id.wikimedia.org/wiki/Rapat_Komunitas/Dokumentasi_aktivitas_GSF23#9_Maret_2024:_Rapat_Komunitas_Wikimedia_Manokwari). Selain itu diskusi juga kami lakukan melalui grup WhatsApp yang kami gunakan sebagai komunikasi sejak hibah "Menyunting Wikidata dan Wikisource Bersama Civitas Akademik Universitas Papua" terlaksana.

Setiap universitas di Papua Barat memiliki fokus masing-masing, saya ingin mempelajari bagaimana mereka dapat menggunakan proyek wikimedia dalam proses pembelajaran dan penelitiannya. Sejalan dengan hal tersebut, dalam lokakarya nanti akan disesuaikan materinya sesuai dengan fokus masing-masing universitas. contohnya, jika kami berkesempatan melakukan lokakarya di sekolah tinggi ilmu hukum, maka kami akan menyiapkan dataset (wikidata) dan buku untuk di uji-baca (wikisource) yang ada kaitannya dengan hukum.
