Project idea

What is the problem you're trying to solve?

Edit wars. It starts by simply reverting something and turns into a messed-up page with untrue information

What is your solution?

When an admin senses an edit war starting add a page link that people can go to when they edit so the actual project page isn't affected as much. Soon the edit war will be over and the page will be somewhat more useful.
