As WMF narrows it's focus, the Fellowships Program will be winding down in early 2013. We'll be investigating other avenues for supporting individuals via grant-making, and meanwhile, Sarah, Steven, and Tanvir will be continuing their projects for several more months, so stay tuned to the News! - Dispute Resolution Project — A Request for Comment closed in favor of a universal DR request wizard and implementation is in development on English Wikipedia. Steven is drafting a second survey to learn what motivates existing DR volunteers, in hopes of increasing the pool of mediators. Continue reading...
- Help Pages Redesign Project — In the final month of Peter's fellowship, the redesign of the English Wikipedia's main help page was usability tested with good results. Community response regarding implementation so far has been supportive. Continue reading...
- Small Wiki Editor Engagement Project — A 6 week pilot of help documentation improvements in Bangla Wikipedia is wrapping up and a midpoint progress report is available. The next Bangla experiment will focus on building a support system for new editors. Continue reading...
- Teahouse Project — Phase 2 of the project is complete. With increasingly stable systems built in, the Teahouse is now a volunteer-sustained space on English Wikipedia. The phase 2 project and metrics reports are now available. Continue reading...
