Aleksandër Xhuvani University Editathon in Elbasan
With the collaboration and under the guidance of Professor Hektor Çiftja, Wikimedians of ALbanian Language User Group trained 12 students to explore a number of articles to contribute to the available information about Elbasan, including the Elbasan Encyclopedia, notable personalities, history, geography, and much more.
Through collaborative editing sessions and feedback exchanges, the participants worked in teamwork, enriching both their learning experience and the quality of Wikipedia content.
For this editathon, Wikimedians of Albanian Language User Group focused on both creating new articles and enhancing existing ones. Students undertook this editathon to hone editing skills, research processes in journalism, critical thinking, and communication abilities.
