There are a number of tools that are useful in fighting cross-wiki vandalism and spam. This page is aimed at listing those tools.
Rights edit
- Global sysop
- A global group with sysop rights on hundreds of small wikis.
- Global rollback
- The ability to use rollback on all projects allowed by policy.
Special pages edit
- Special:Globalblock
- (stewards) Allows stewards to globally block an IP address.
- Special:CentralAuth
- (stewards) Allows stewards to lock a unified account, such that a user can no longer login.
User scripts edit
- xwikirollback.js
- Needed for rollback links as used in some tools to work.
- hideuser.js
- (stewards) Allows for easy local hiding of locked SUL accounts.
- removeSpam.js
- (anti-spam) Helps removing links from a page.
- CVNSimpleOverlay_wiki.js
- (cvndatabase) Integrates CVNBot's global database with MediaWiki-pages. Supports global black-, grey- and whitelist. And the global watchlist for page titles.
- SBHandler
- (anti-spam) A gadget to help dealing with the spam blacklist.
- coibot.js
- (anti-spam) A gadget to assist in dealing with XWiki reports
- blockOptions.js/globalBlockOptions.js
- Gives tabs to quickly block using common settings.
- massBlock.js/globalMassBlock.js
- Quickly block lots of IPs.
- Ajax_sysop.js
- Speed up lots of administrative tasks.
- autoDelete.js
- Speed up deletion of vandalism pages.
- modRollback.js
- Improves workflow of rollback.
- User:Mike.lifeguard/remote.js
- (anti-spam/countervandalism) Meta-script pulls together many user scripts for use doing work cross-wiki.
- StewardScript
- (stewards) Improves aspects of the steward interface and workflow.
- stewardlinks.js
- (stewards) Adds a steward toolbox in the left sidebar with useful information and links.

- Sulutil
- List a user's global account status as well as local accounts. DWMT/Tools/name
- Blockfinder
- Checks global and local (range) blocks for a given IP address.
- {{Delete}}
- Lists pages tagged with {{delete}} on projects without sysops.
- AntiSpam search (doesn't work, user account expired)
- (anti-spam) Searches for links to a given domain across all WMF wiki's.
- Xwiki spam tool
- (anti-spam) Checks the status of link additions in bot reports. DWMT/Tools/name
- Search spamlists
- (anti-spam) Searches for a domain's entry in spam blacklists. DWMT/Tools/name
- WHOIS
- A WHOIS tool on the toolserver.
- Rangeblock calculator
- A tool to help calculate CIDRs.
- List Users
- A tool to search a wiki's userlist. DWMT/Tools/name
- RangeContribs
- A tool to find contributions from an arbitrary IP range
