edit- 21 December 2018 → 1 May 2018 is an extremelly long-running campaign and I do not remember we've ever setup one like that. I'd like to hear from Seddon (WMF) here. Thanks. —MarcoAurelio (talk) 10:45, 21 December 2018 (UTC)
- I planned to set different diet over time. I'm fine with splitting the campaign to several campaigns, with this one running till January 10, 2019. Is this fine with you? --Martin Urbanec (talk) 11:08, 25 December 2018 (UTC)
- I'm fine with either options (diet or subcampaigns). I'd prefer diet as it's easier. I'll work on the banners nonetheless and we can discuss about settings later :) —MarcoAurelio (talk) 10:18, 26 December 2018 (UTC)

- I am running the campaign at mediawiki only for today to see how it works, etc. —MarcoAurelio (talk) 17:58, 27 December 2018 (UTC)
- @MarcoAurelio: German translation: "Der Wikimedia Hackathon ist eine wichtige technische Wikimedia Veranstaltung, sie findet in Prag in Tschechien statt. Bitte registriere oder bewerbe dich für ein Stipendium.". --Martin Urbanec (talk) 19:31, 27 December 2018 (UTC)
- Added to the banners. Thank you, —MarcoAurelio (talk) 20:37, 27 December 2018 (UTC)
- Translations to further languages can be added via the Translate extension. Ping me to deploy them to the CentralNotice since it is not automatic. —MarcoAurelio (talk) 20:43, 27 December 2018 (UTC)

After Christmas we should see how we can extend these campaigns. —MarcoAurelio (talk) 20:59, 27 December 2018 (UTC)
Discussion (second round)
editMartin Urbanec requested this banner to run until May 1, 2019. Can we discuss now a lower rate/impression/etc. so it keeps displaying? cc Seddon/Seddon (WMF). —MarcoAurelio (talk) 18:52, 7 February 2019 (UTC)
- I talked about this at WMCZ and we decided to have this banner disabled for a while, to re-enable it later in late March/early April. If keeping displaying to less number of users is feasible (and increasing the number of targeted users around the time I mentioned), I won't object it of course. --Martin Urbanec (talk) 19:18, 7 February 2019 (UTC)
