Description - From 23 to 26 May 2019, over 400 million Europeans will elect a new European Parliament. After we have already shut down the whole Wikipedia to protest against Article 13, now it's time for everyone to go to the ballot box and make his or her voice heard! Unfortunately though, the turnout is expected to be very low again. This is a threat to Europe, our democracy, and will likely further strengthen extremist parties. Therefore, I think it would be a great sign, if Wikipedia would urge every EU citizen to cast their vote in the election. Hence, I propose to put up a CentralNotice on the election day (either depending on the country or the whole period) to remind all readers of the election!

(1) We are not endorsing any party, but are just urging to go to the election. That is in no way impeding the principle of neutrality. (2) What was the shutdown of Wikipedia regarding the Copyright Directive then?.. Allrounder (talk) 23:58, 15 May 2019 (UTC)
